I needed to relocate to a single level ranch house, and I wanted to find one close to a family that I have known for over thirty years. As I approached my retirement, I wanted to live in a home without stairs and near to people who are like family to me. I was watching the neighborhood on a few web sites, and I spotted a ranch home that went up for sale with a back yard that was adjoining the back yard of my friends home. It was the perfect floor plan in the perfect location. It was also on the market at an incredible price. Mary Wallace was recommended to me by my Godmother, Sara Gordon, who has been in real estate for many years and who told me that I could count on Mary to help me get the house. Mary put me in contact with Steven Raetz to help me get an offer in place. This all happened on July 2nd, right before the holiday. I assumed that we would be waiting until after the holiday, but Steven told me that at the price the house was being offered for, it would be sold in a matter of days. He worked with me to get a showing of the house on July 3rd, and then worked with me to get an offer submitted by 8 PM that same evening.
